Collaboration & Communication

Why It Matters

Good collaboration keeps everyone on the same page. In PMS, you don’t need endless email chains or keep track of pinned slack threads — everything can be shared inside the project. This makes work faster, clearer, and more organized.

Ways to Collaborate in PMS

Project Discussions

  • Each project has a Discussions tab.

  • Use it to:

    • Share updates.

    • Share Minutes of Meetings (MOMs)

    • Keep all project-related chats in one place.

    • After Internal discussions / meetings share discussed points here to keep every one informed

Notes

  • Keep Handy details here
    • e.g. Important Document Links, Developer Login Credentials etc.

File Sharing

  • Upload files directly under the Files tab of a project.

  • Everyone in the project can access them.

  • Keeps all documents in one secure spot.

  • No more hunting for attachments in old messages!

Task Comments

  • Each task has a comment section.

  • Use it for task-specific communication and updates.

  • Example: “I’ve updated the design file—please review.”

  • Keeps the discussion tied to the exact work item.

Notifications

  • PMS sends in-app and email notifications when:

    • You’re assigned a task.

    • Someone replies to your comment.

    • A project update happens.

  • Stay updated without constantly checking manually.

Best Practices

  • Use Discussions for big-picture updates, and Task Comments for detailed instructions.

  • Upload files in the project file section instead of sending via chat/email.

  • Keep messages short, clear, and action-oriented.

  • Always tag the right person so nothing gets missed.
